Nothing Better Than Santa, Pizza, And Bismarck Xmas Lights

Not necessarily in that exact order, for we all LOVE it especially around this time of year! Pretty hard to believe we are almost done with November, as soon as we finish our slice of pumpkin pie, and we survive "Black Friday", it's time for Santa Claus to start getting warmed up - check out the full day THIS Saturday to get you in the holiday spirit:

I know you leave cookies out for him, but have you ever sat down and eaten breakfast with Santa?

According to a press release from Bismarck Holiday Kickoff:

·      **** Breakfast with Santa – The excitement begins when Santa and Mrs. Claus host Breakfast with Santa from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Bismarck Event Center. This annual tradition features a warm breakfast buffet, visit with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, plus a variety of activities including Santa’s Workshop and Elves Village where children can build a toy or play on inflatables.

But wait, there is pizza involved too

·       **** Holiday Pizza Bash – a new addition to bring even more fun to the day. It is a fun-filled event from 4-6 pm at the Event Center where attendees can sample delicious pizza slices from six local restaurants and cast their vote for the best slice in town. Also includes holiday-themed games, cookie decorating, dancing, a silent auction, and more for all ages.

Last but not least, to cap off a glorious day - Bismarck Fireworks

·      **** Tree Lighting & Fireworks Show – “Lighting up the Night and Launching the Holiday Season” The Tree Lighting is a free event where we light the Capital City Christmas Tree in Peace Park at 6 p.m. Everyone can enjoy hot chocolate and music from Christmas carolers in addition to a visit from Santa Claus. A beautiful fireworks show will follow near the event center at 6:30 pm.

The best thing about this whole event is that funds raised through these Capital City Christmas events provide grants to local non-profit organizations, programs and artists to enhance the arts and humanities in Bismarck.
