Hard to believe that we are a week into May already

Seemed like just yesterday we sprinted ( as best we could through our slippery driveway ) to our warmed-up, heated car, howling winds and freezing temps biting at us. Now with a projected 91 degrees this Sunday, summer is rapidly approaching.

One of our wonderful traditions that we have always looked forward to is unfortunately not going to be with us

This is a real shame, too - we all look forward to the simple traditions that come around every year in Bismarck. Capital Farmers Market has been that special place :

"A Bismarck area farmers market offering locally-grown produce, homemade baked/canned goods, and more. June-October" - that description from their Facebook page is so accurate.  Wonderful places like this add so much to our community, bring people together, and help support small businesses like this one.

Sad news was recently announced

A sad, humble "Goodbye" was posted on Capital Farmers Market FB page

"It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Capital Farmers Market will not be opening for the 2025 season.
We have been humbled to serve the Bismarck/Mandan community and thank every one of our great vendors and customers who have been with and supported us over the years.
You can find some of our vendors at the other great markets in the area this year. Please continue to show up and support them in their new homes.
Should our future change and there be an opportunity for us to return we will gladly let you know"
Thank you to Capital Farmers Market for being part of Bismarck.
