Williston, ND Families Receive Easter Meals Thanks to CHI St. Alexius Health
CHI St. Alexius Health is committed to making Williston a healthier community. It’s demonstrated through the compassionate care they provide in and out of the hospital, and by their focus on addressing broader health priorities like affordable housing, behavioral health, childcare, healthy aging, and access to care.
Meeting Community Needs Through Partnership
By forming partnerships and offering programs and services, they meet the unique everyday challenges facing community members. Many of our friends and neighbors can't afford to have an Easter holiday meal. CHI St. Alexius Health Williston, recently partnered with Albertson’s and Faith United Methodist Church to take on that food insecurity.
Coming Together to Combat Food Insecurity
Staff at CHI St. Alexius Health Williston recognized that a lot of local families were unable to afford a traditional Easter meal. In response, staff at the hospital and clinic organized an Easter Food Drive. They gathered enough food to provide 30 families with full dinners that could feed six people each.
Delivering Hope, One Meal at a Time
Staff members distributed the meal baskets on Saturday, April 13, 2025, during the Gift Meal at Faith United Methodist Church. Albertson’s donated the boxes used for packaging the meals.

CHI St. Alexius Health’s Volunteer Coordinator Voni Halvorson. said, “What a wonderful way to celebrate Easter, by helping families in need. This is such a wonderful place to work.”
Special thanks to the CHI team, Albertsons and Faith United Methodist Church for stepping up with generosity and heart.
