In Madison Wisconsin, The Snuggle House is opening where patrons will pay $60 an hour to snuggle with someone. Right! Sometimes, you need a good snuggle!
This is a true story! This business has hired 4 employees as professional "snugglers" and these are not prostitutes! These professional huggers will snuggle and caress you on a bed or couch for a rate of $60 an hour. This was not a project without it's struggles. The owners of the house did have to delay their grand opening because it took time to convince local authorities that the business was legit.
The authorities are satisfied, and now it looks like snuggling will be available in Madison.
The owner, Matthew Hurtado, has said in a recent interview that hundreds have applied for his service and according to the Snuggle House's Facebook page they're looking to hire two more part-time snugglers.
As you can figure, snuggling service is the only one of its kind in Wisconsin. I do have a few questions? Same sex snuggling, will that be offered? What other kind of personal contact will be offered? Snuggling could lead to canoodling? How would a customer gauge the gratuity?
