This week we (Tigger & BEC) are in Las Vegas for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.  The SUPER BOWL of RODEO. Aka the WNFR or the NFR kicks off this week in "Sin City". The 10-day run of nightly competition from the WORLDS BEST have come to compete starting Thursday, December 1st, 2022 thru December 10th, 2022.

7-Time NFR QUALIFIER

Mandan, North Dakota's very own Ty Breuer will compete against the best of the best bareback riders in the world. Making this Breuer's 7th-time Pro Career appearance at the biggest rodeo in the world. Breuer is ranked 14th in the world bareback riding standings, with $104,184.54. Ty Breuer along with wife, Kelli Breuer, and their three children made the trek to Vegas early in the week, excited to be back at the NFR.

We always talk about the contestants if you listen to us on-air. but what about the rodeo athletes with 4 legs, yes - we mean the stock (livestock). Some of the TOP bucking bulls and horses that you are going to be watching if you are tuning in on the Cowboy Channel, come from right in our own backyard of the 701 here in North Dakota.

Dakota Rodeo Company will be featuring Bubba G, Nasty Wishes, Night Hawk, Pookie Holler, and Sky Harbor on the Bullriding along with the great horses' Bartender and Cash Deal in the Saddle Bronc. Baily Pro Rodeo hauled the horse Colorado Bulldog in the Bareback and Super Tramp in the Bullriding. Just south of Mandan is home to Mosbrucker Rodeo Company and they have their great horses Freckles and Young Guns in the Saddle Bronc Riding. Whether they are athletes of 2 legs or 4, we are sure proud of the 701 and our corner of God’s Country making a showing at the 2022 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
