Real-Life Cowboy and Stuntman

Known in many households as the senior ranch hand on Yellowstone, Forrie Smith was raised in Helena, Montana. This cowboy attended Montana State University on a rodeo scholarship and spent 52 years competing in rodeos. The rodeo success led him to Hollywood where he has worked as a stuntman on movies like Rambo 3, Desperado, and others. The bug for a career in being a stuntman, the actor revealed has also bitten his son. Forrie was excited to share that just a few days prior his son had wrapped filming doing stunts where the younger Smith stole a stagecoach. We tried, but could not get the actor to dish on what upcoming movie that might be, thou we tried hard!

Yellowstone, Season 5

What Season 5 holds has been the big question of course for the actor, he was not able to offer much insight other than the premiere will have a totally unexpected twist. Considered the most-watched TV show drama, Yellowstone stars Kevin Costner and is centered around the Dutton family, who in the show owns one of the largest ranches in the United States. Season 5 kicks off on Sunday, November 13th, with a two-hour premiere event on Paramount Network. According to Forbes Magazine, the season 4 finale Sunday airing back on January 2, 2022 drew 9.3 million viewers. Those numbers are comparable to the viewership of past shows such as Game of Thrones.

A quick recap, the finale of Season 4 ended with Beth and Rip's wedding, Jamie shooting his biological father, Kayce's vision, and then Jimmy heading off to Texas has many wondering will season 5 begin with a time jump.
