Well, there's one small town in North Dakota where it seems that people fart $100 dollar bills.
This town has been identified by Go Banking Rates as the RICHEST small town in all of North Dakota for the second straight year (2023 & 2024). This little community is actually not that little anymore. It's practically become a suburb of the cities of Fargo and West Fargo as both those communities continue to grow south. Plenty of new construction is going into this town.
This small town is none other than Horace, North Dakota, and has a median income of $138,636.
Go Banking Rates analyzed data from the United States Census Bureau income data in locations in every state with 500 to 15,000 households to determine the richest small towns in each state.
Horace, North Dakota has a population of 5,305 as of 2024 and is the 14th biggest city in North Dakota. It's a city that has been growing over the last several years and is up 10% percent from last year. The high school is even playing Class A in some sports.
Horace's population jumped over both Grafton and Lincoln in 2023 to move it into 14th place in North Dakota overall for 2024.
