The Surprising Spot With North Dakota’s Best Chicken Parmesan
Chicken Parmesan is a staple at most Italian restaurants across North Dakota.
Many of us North Dakotans affectionately know this is "chicken parm." Whatever you call it, it is comfort food to the core. Chicken, breaded with the perfect seasoning and pan-fried to perfection. Plop it on a plate of spaghetti noodles, with marinara sauce, and some parmesan cheese (the more the better), and you've got yourself a meal.

Some of my favorite chicken parmesan dishes and sandwiches in Bismarck.
I love the chicken parm at the Walrus. I'm also a fan of Bistro 1100, Jimmy V's, and the Old 10 Bar & Grill, but my ABSOLUTE favorite in Bismarck-Mandan has to be the chicken parm at the Olive Garden. It literally melts in your mouth.
What about North Dakota? Who's got the best chicken parm in the state?
I ran across an article from Chowhound, the "Handsdown Best Chicken Parmesan in Each State", and the spot for North Dakota, I have never heard of. And, for good reason, it's pretty brand new. It's been open since 2025.
