Check Out North Dakota’s Kissing Couples On Send Us Your Smooch

Happy Valentines Day.  Did you know North Dakota is allegedly one of the most romantic states in America?

Yep, according to a study from the online company Gembyte we know a thing or two about love in North Dakota.

North Dakota is the 4th Most Romantic State in the United States. 

They analyzed Google trends data, looking up ten different words and phrases connected to the most romantic holiday. In order to come up with the list of the most romantic states, the researchers added up the individual scores to get a total score for every state. To level the field, the final scores are presented per 100,000 people.

Search terms included chocolate, roses, date ideas, jewelry, teddy bear, chocolate strawberries, valentines day card, valentines jokes, valentines day gifts, and Valentine's Day quotes.

We fully believe that, as we received several hundred entries for our "Send Us Your Smooch" contest on US 103-3.  Listeners were asked to submit a photo of themselves kissing their significant other to win a $500 dollar prize pack.
