Images of Charlie Kirk can be seen on digital billboards across Bismarck and Mandan.

They pay tribute to a man who lost his life to a sniper on Wednesday, September 10th, the day before "Patriot Day" in America.
I think any rational person could agree, anybody who would take the life of somebody because they disagree with their personal beliefs is beyond deplorable.
Now, a young mother and two small children will have to somehow pick up the pieces and move on without their father and husband. A task I hope you will never have to endure. It's unimaginable for most. Something nobody should have to go through.
I've seen some disgusting comments on social media since the death of this human being. Some posts called him "a piece of crap", others were cheering that this 31-year-old man lost his life to a coward and a cold-blooded killer.
It's very hard to wrap your head around how it's justifiable to shoot someone just because they have a different view of life compared to yours. In my opinion, Charlie Kirk was a fearless advocate of open, respectful debate.
These comments on social media have caused outrage among many, but the ironic thing is, no violence (thankfully). I'm glad we still have some sanity in this country.
Charlie Kirk was set to speak in North Dakota this October.
Kirk was slated to speak at the University of North Dakota on October 9th, 2025. I know the UND campus just held a vigil for him yesterday.
Now the city of Bismarck will hold a rally titled "Faith Over Fear": Rally for Charlie Kirk and Free Speech.
According to a post on Facebook, this will take place at the Newsong Church from 3:30 to 5:30 pm tomorrow, Sunday, September 14th. The Newsong Church is located at 3200 North 11th Street in Bismarck.
This rally is expected to feature speeches from elected and unelected North Dakota community leaders who will reflect on Charlie’s enduring impact. Attendees will be invited to stand together in prayer and the principles for which Charlie gave his life.
The cost of this event is free. Prayers to Charlie Kirk's family and all who admired this man of faith and free speech.
