Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are celebrating their 8th anniversary Tuesday (July 10), and if there were any doubt that the two are are the definition of #couplegoals, a loving post from Underwood would put all doubts to rest.

The superstar took to Instagram to post photos of herself and her husband for their special occasion, noting, "Here’s to 8 years, babe! Where does the time go?! I love you today more than yesterday...which was more than the day before...and so on and so forth. Here’s to many more years together!"

Could they be any more adorable together? Fisher, who has retired from his pro hockey career, met Underwood while he was based in Canada playing for the Ottawa Senators. When sparks flew between the two, Nashville-based Underwood lamented that the long-distance thing might be an impediment.

“Can I make dating more difficult?” she noted on VH1’s Behind the Music. “Let’s get a hockey guy who lives in another country. Awesome.”

However, love prevailed, as it has a way of doing. The two married in 2010, managing their dual careers by splitting time between Canada and the States. A little less than a year later, Fisher was drafted by the Nashville Predators, which made things considerably easier on their relationship.

Now, of course, the happy couple are settled, have 3-year-old son Isaiah to round out their little family, and are able to enjoy their anniversaries at their leisure.
