Brad Paisley Shares Release Plans for New Album, ‘Love and War’
Brad Paisley has announced release plans for his next studio album: Love and War, the singer's 11th studio record, is set for release on March 3.
According to a press release announcing the new project's drop date, Love and War was co-produced by Paisley and Luke Wooten. The artist's current single, “Today,” which was released in October, is the disc's first single, per the release (Paisley's previous single, “Without a Fight,” a duet with pop star Demi Lovato, was originally billed as the album's first single when it was released back in May). Neither a cover nor a track listing has been shared.
Earlier in December, Paisley was tweeting about putting the finishing touches on his upcoming new album: "Fun fact for you @timbaland: Sequencing the album today, & spellcheck keeps changing (feat. Timbaland) to (feat. Tim Allen). I'm torn," he wrote on Dec. 12, hinting at one of the record's many collaborations. The following day (Dec. 13), Paisley joked, "How much y'all dare me to end the record with ... 'and Nationwide is on your side.'"
Paisley recently announced that he is extending his Life Amplified World Tour into 2017, with dates scheduled throughout the month of February; following his February tour dates, Paisley will head overseas for the 2017 Country to Country Festival.
Fans who can't quite wait until March to get their hands on a new project from Paisley will be able to pick up his new live CD / DVD, Life Amplified World Tour: Live From WVU, beginning Friday (Dec. 23). Additionally, an exhibit about Paisley's life and career, Diary of a Player, is now open at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
