Bismarck’s Carson Wentz Has A Potential Landing Spot For 2025-26
Bismarck Century's and NDSU's Carson Wentz spent the 2024-2025 season backing up Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City.
Wentz even got the opportunity to start a meaningless game for the Chiefs late in the season against Denver that didn't go so well. In all fairness, Carson Wentz was playing with all backups, as the Chiefs were resting their starters for the playoff run.
Before last season, Wentz was backing up Matthew Stafford in Los Angeles. It's been the backup role for Wentz for a while now. He's a long way from his 2017 MVP-type season when he led the Eagles to the Super Bowl.
Carson Wentz's time with Kansas City is over. According to Fanentrance, Wentz was cut back on March 1st from the Chiefs.
You can't help but wonder if this is it for the former quarterback star of Bismarck Century and North Dakota State. I know Wentz is a big hunter, and I'm sure part of him wouldn't mind having his autum's free to hunt, but wait...hold the phone.
According to Sports Illustrated, there might be a potential suitor for Carson Wentz next season.
Wentz is mentioned with two other quarterbacks who could also be a possibility for the Cleveland Browns.

In the article, Wentz is mentioned along with Daniel Jones, who could end up with the Vikings in 2025-2026, and another former Minnesota quarterback, Kirk Cousins. As of now, Cousins is still under contract with the Atlanta Falcons, but that could change quickly.
Free agency for the NFL begins on Monday, and we will see what the future holds for North Dakota's very own Carson Wentz. We wish him the very best.
