Bismarck’s Big Black Friday Item Might Be Toilet Paper AGAIN!
I guess we didn't learn a whole lot from this past Spring. Coronavirus numbers are surging again, and so is toilet paper hoarding. I took a recent trip to Walmart south location over the weekend and the shelves were wiped clean. No pun intended. I spoke with an associate, and they said even with a limit on toilet paper rolls, the store was running out again. Who's to stop people from buying a couple of rolls, putting them in their car and coming right back in and buying some more. Obviously, that is what people must be doing, and here we go again. I placed a call to Walmart Mandan, and they told me the same story.
Back in my day, the only time we panic bought something was "last call" at the bar.
Yes, stomach flu and diarrhea can sometimes be a symptom of COVID-19, but not to the point of stockpiling your residence with toilet paper. It just doesn't make sense. Even, if we went into a lockdown of some sort, you're still going to be allowed to go to the grocery store and buy toilet paper. So what's the point of hoarding toilet paper people? This may come down as one of the biggest mystery's of 2020.
So who knew that Charmin Mega rolls might be the hottest Black Friday item? In Black Friday's of the past, people have fought over TV's, iPads, toys and now I'm fully expecting to see a fist fight video or two on facebook over toilet paper. UGHH! Again, I ask why?
On a related note, does anyone know how to install a bidet? Asking for a friend.
