Bismarck Mandan’s #1New Country At WE Fest! More Iconic Shots!
The 40th anniversary of WE Fest wrapped up Saturday night in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
Over the course of 3 days, country music fans witnessed a wide array of country music acts from ol' school artists like Travis Tritt and Jo Dee Messina to up-and-comers like Gabby Barrett and Bailey Zimmerman—rising stars like Brothers Osborne, Kane Brown, and Chase Rise. Then there were the iconic artists like Morgan Wallen and Brad Paisley. Something for just about everyone.
When the dust settled after Saturday night a record number of people had taken in WE Fest.
Final numbers haven't been announced yet at the time of this article but it's estimated that over 120,000 people attended the region's biggest country music festival at Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Over 40,000 people alone attended Morgan Wallen on Thursday night. Brad Paisley played to a huge crowd as well on Friday night. Kane Brown was the headliner Saturday night and despite some weather delays, it was another big show.
US 103-3 broadcasted live from WE Fest again this year.
One thing that was extremely evident this year was that country music fans from North Dakota's Capitol Region really came out for this year's WE Fest. We had the chance to visit with so many country music fans from Bismarck, Mandan, Lincoln, and all of our surrounding towns. It was so nice to see. We really appreciate our winners sending us so many great photos and videos over the course of the 3-day country music festival.
We hope you enjoy these photos from our listeners. Many of them are right from the stage area and our pit pass winners.
