Bismarck & Mandan Graduation Dates, Times & Events

It's taco and a bag, ham sandwiches, and kuchen season. Otherwise, known as graduation season.

The rite of passage for every young person who has endured 12 years of public or private school, 13 if you count kindergarten.

I recently had my listeners weigh in on whether they would do high school all over again.

If they were given the chance. The majority of the answers said, "absolutely not". I get the trepidation, but I couldn't help but ask, "Knowing what you know now, wouldn't it be nice to do it all over again?" I think it would.

Unfortunately, we seldom get a second chance at anything in life, so it's best to look forward and forget about the past.

According to a press release from both the Bismarck & Mandan Public Schools, here's when commencement ceremonies will take place.

Bismarck St. Mary's Class of 2025 Graduation happened this past Sunday, May 18th.

Bismarck Public Schools would like to share several events taking place this week to honor the graduating class of 2025.   

Friday, May 23rd, 2025:

South Central High School Graduation will take place at 4 pm at the BPS Career Academy at 1221 College Drive, Bismarck.

Adult Learning Center Graduation will take place at 7 pm at the BPS Career Academy at 1221 College Drive, Bismarck.

 Saturday, May 24th, 2025:

There will be a feather tying ceremony at 10 am at Mandan High School at 2335 4th Avenue Northwest, Mandan. This tradition has great cultural significance for the Indigenous community.

Sunday, May 25th, 2025:

Bismarck High School Graduation is at 1 pm at the Bismarck Event Center.

Legacy High School Graduation is at 4 pm at the Bismarck Event Center.

Century High School Graduation is at 7 pm at the Bismarck Event Center.

Mandan High School Graduation is at 2 pm at the Starion Bank Gymnasium.

Shiloh Christian High School Graduation is at 2:30 pm in the school gymnasium.
