We are Losing Another Ground Round in North Dakota

The Ground Round in Minot just closed back last October after more than 30 years in business. Now, another Ground Round in North Dakota is set close its doors for good. According to a Facebook post, the Ground Round in Grand Forks is closing after more than 40 years in business.

It looks like this Ground Round will remain open for a few more months before the end of an era. No reason was given for the closure in the heartfelt message from the Grand Forks Ground Owners.

I myself have spent a lot of birthdays, anniversaries, happy hours, and sporting event parties over the years at the Ground Round over the years. It's always been one of my go-to spots when we dine out.

Is our Bismarck Ground Round Safe?

After this news, I immediately reached out to one of the managers at the Ground Round in Bismarck. She assured me that our Ground Round in Bismarck is not going anywhere. They are owned and operated locally, and they do not have the same owners as Minot or Grand Forks. I personally was very happy to hear this, as I mentioned, I'm a fan of this restaurant. Good news for Bismarck.
