How was your 2025? Are you happy in your life?

I think an often overlooked aspect of how happy you are is where you are living. So many people, if they are not happy or in a bad situation, tend to just stay stuck, not realizing that a fresh start in a new city might be just what they need.

I spent most of my life living in Grand Forks, where I was born and raised. Although I was fairly happy in my hometown, I had a feeling I would love living in Bismarck someday. Then, when the opportunity presented itself over 6 years ago, believe me, it was a scary proposition when your roots are deep somewhere, but I'm so glad I made the move. My quality of life is so much better in the Capital Region.
