Jeff has been a part of the Sioux Falls media for 35 years. He grew up in Southern California, and graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a BA in Communications in 1986, before getting his start in television later that year at KNAZ-TV in Flagstaff, Arizona. He moved to Sioux Falls in 1989 to become Sports Director at KSFY-TV, a position he held for more than eight years. During that time, he was named ‘Sportscaster of the Year’ by the South Dakota Associated Press. His radio career began in September of 1997 and since 2011 he has been the mid-day host on B1027. In 2023, Jeff was inducted into the South Dakota Rock & Rollers Hall of Fame in the DJ category.
