Over the course of the next portion of Neil's life he really began his car collection.  I spoke to his son Aber over the phone recently, and he told me his father bought most of his cars from western North Dakota and eastern Montana.  He also bought a lot of cars for parts for cars and cars for parts.  Sometimes these restoration projects take a long time.  One vehicle that Neil worked on, a 1941 Ford convertible took 5 or 6 years to complete.

Neil knew there would come a time that he would sell his prize car collection.  He's retired now at 80 years young.  I asked Neil's son Aber if any of his family will be getting any of the collection.  He told me, "They're welcome to bid on anything they want."
