Tattoos are not for everyone. Either you love them or you don't.

I've often thought about getting a tattoo to honor my son in some way, but so far I haven't pulled the plug.  It's something I hope to do someday.

People often have different reasons for getting tattoos.

Like myself, they want to pay tribute to a loved one.  Others get ink to display their affection for their passions.  Some people do it just because they like the look of tattoos.  It's all a very personal decision.

We received a message on our app from one of our listeners who had plans to tattoo one of his favorite country artists on his body.

Now, that's a superfan, right?  He's never even met this particular artist, but he's become a big fan of her since hearing her on US 103-3 a lot.  He has never even seen her in concert before, but he hopes to one day soon.  Again, that's what I call devotion.

So, who is this country artist that would cause one of our listeners to make a "permanent" decision like this?

None other than the lovely Megan Maroney.

Megan has really had a big 2024 with hits on the radio and a world tour with Kenny Chesney. My 20-year-old son has been in my ear for a while now telling me about Megan before we started playing her on the radio.  He's also a big fan of her music. She has a chance to be the next Lainey Wilson in my opinion.

Here's a photo of the custom Megan Maroney tattoo that Levi Bitz of Bismarck had done to his arm.

Resurrection Tattoo shop in Bismarck did this custom ink for our listener.

This is not the only country artist that our listener has on his body. Levi also has a tattoo of Jessie James, and a few other assorted tat's.

I wonder if we could talk Levi into getting a US 103-3 tattoo?  Maybe, we can get him backstage to meet Megan Maroney someday? Hmmm.
