4th Of July Weekend In Bis-Man
What are you most excited for over the 4th of July weekend? The Mandan rodeo and the 4th of July parade have always been staples to Bismarck-Mandan and the local area. It's a long standing tradition for people to go to the rodeo and then afterwards stay for the fireworks. After people watch the Mandan rodeo fireworks they usually shoot their own off. This year, unfortunately, it will be different because people can't shoot off fireworks due to the drought.
I'm really bummed myself because that's what I look forward to about the fourth of July weekend is being able to shoot off fireworks. It's just been a weird year with hardly having a winter to now hardly having any rain. Hopefully we get a few good rain storms, but one never knows.
Many people are also excited to go watch Tigirlilly play at the Medora Musical Stage. They will be playing there along with Gwen Sebastian. This is a show you don't want to miss. Tigirlilly recently got a record deal and have really been doing some amazing things since then. The band has opened for a lot of different country music artists and we all hope the best for the band to continue doing good things.
All in all it's always a fun weekend around North Dakota, but it's just going to be a little bit on the different side this year with the drought. What are your plans over the 4th of July weekend?
